GRAHAM SCHOFIELD ASSOCIATES was established in 1990 with the simple philosophy of providing clients with a high standard of service; a professional approach to “problem solving” and an appreciation of commercial and economic elements coupled with a duty of care for safe and secure design.

 

At the onset, the practice mantra has been the acquisition of work as a result of quality and recommendation rather than aggressive marketing and salesmanship.  A larger proportion of our workload is repeat business from clients with whom we have developed a long and trustworthy relationship.

 

GSA offers a full portfolio of services, and as consulting civil and structural engineers can provide everything from temporary works design for bridgeworks and deep basements, through to heavy civils and structural steel and timber design.

 

The practice is also increasingly involved with ‘sustainable design’ and in particular ‘sustainable urban drainage' which is an environmentally friendly way of dealing with surface water runoff.

 

Our staff make a valuable contribution to the services we offer our clients and are encouraged to develop their skills and increase their responsibilities.

 

The practice retains a close eye on the latest developments in I.T. which is relevant to our business.  We also engage a rolling programme of updating our I.T. equipment and the purchase of design programmes. We have recently acquired REVIT to enable the practice to develop its integration into the world of BIM.
